Penut Butter and Jelly Sandwich's

[reviews]

Willow blinked her eyes a couple of times, then shook her head, and then proceeded to pinch herself. Buffy looked at her oddly. "Will, what are you doing?" She asked with confusion written on her face.

"Just making sure it's not another daydream." She answered before she leaned in and kissed the blonde again. Willow smiled, this was just what she had always wanted. Her and Buffy. Together. A couple...wait, were they a couple? She pulled back to look at the blonde who still had her eyes shut.

"Wow." Buffy said as a smile appeared on her face.

"You can say that again." Willow muttered, an even bigger smile on her face.

"Wow." Buffy repeated herself and grinned at the redhead 'my girlfriend?' she asked herself.

"So uhm, I mean, where do we go from here? I mean, do you wanna just date? Or be my girlfriend? Or....what? Cause I honestly gotta tell you that I would most definently prefer the girlfriend one, but I guess that i could understand if well-" Willow tried to babble on, but was stopped by a light kiss the blonde placed on her lips. "Huh? What was I saying?" Willow asked when the kiss ended.

"Wow, I found a way to stop Willow babble...not that you'd always want to, but it's a nice tool to have." She smiled wryly at the redhead. "And yes, to the whole, girlfriend thing. Because maybe it's just me, but I think my whole relationship with Angel just kinda went down the tubes, and well, I kinda love you." She placed a light kiss on the redhead's cheek, and smiled when she blushed. "Oh, a kiss on the cheek gets you to blush, but playing tonsil hockey doesn't do anything? We've so gotta work on that." Buffy said jokingly, only causing Willow's blush to deepen. "Come on, we should go...back to school. I need to have a chat with Angel." Buffy said, her demeanor changing to one that was more than slightly scary to the redhead, and she hoped that she wouldn't ever be on the recieving end of the blonde's fury.

"Uhm, Buffy, we kinda missed second period...you know, the period where they take all day attendance?" Willow asked, a bit of hopefulness in her voice.

Buffy looked at the alarm clock next to Willow's bed. "So we did. Now what will we ever do with the rest of the day?" Buffy asked as she leaned down and captured the redhead's lips. After a few minutes she said, "Why dont we go to my house? We can watch TV or something..." Buffy suggested this is the most innocent manner she could muster up.

Willow giggled, before nodding her head "Sounds like a plan to me." She said as she took the blonde's hand and led her out of the house, and down the street. The walk from house to house normally only took five minutes, although with frequent stops to kiss, and more frequent stops to just play around, it was twenty minutes before the couple made it to Buffy's. Once there they sat down on the couch, not even going through the montions of turning on the television before they were attatched at the lips, and before they knew it, it was three o'clock, time for school to be out.

Willow was thoroughly enjoying herself as she kissed the blonde, and it seemed like nothing in the world could be more perfect. That is, until her stomach growled. Buffy pulled back. "Sounds like someone's hungry?" She asked as she playfully drew little designs on Willow's stomach through the thin material of her shirt.

Willow blushed. "Maybe just a little. I mean...I haven't had anything to eat all day." She said, and Buffy stood up, grabbed her hand, and pulled her towards the kitchen.

"What would you like to eat? Chef Buffy will fix anything we've got for you." She said playfully.

"Mhhhh...Buffy Soup." Willow said as she pulled her girlfriend between her and the kitchen counter before lightly helping the blonde to sit up on the counter.

"Hmm, Buffy Soup could be arranged." Buffy said slyly, letting Willow stand in between her legs as she leaned in for another kiss. Buffy was in heaven, or at least what she thought heaven would feel like. And she was never going to let it go, not if she had any say in the matter. She gasped lightly as she felt Willow slowly sneak a hand up, under her shirt to her back where she stroaked up and down, right next to her spine. Buffy in turn pulled Willow as close to her as was humanly possible with clothes in between them. She pulled back quickly. "Should we be taking this slower?" Buffy asked, the question lingering in her eyes.

"No, I mean...I think we're going the perfect speed, but uhm.....I really am hungry." Willow said with a slight smile and blush.

"Mkay, well lets get you something to eat then." Buffy said as she lightly pushed Willow back some so that she could hop down from the counter, only to end up flush against the redhead. She looked at Willows lips for a minute. Resisting the urge to kiss them. "Right...food." She said breathily as she tried to pull her eyes away from the pair of lips. Willow, seeing her problem, smiled and stepped back, allowing the blonde to move freely about the kitchen.

"Uhm, a sandwich would be fine, if you have the stuff for one?" Willow asked, and Buffy nodded, getting out the penutbutter and jelly, and preparing a sandwich. She even went so far as to cut it in half into triangles and putting it on a dish. They went and sat down in the living room while Willow ate. She was two bites into the sadwich when there was a knock at the door.

Buffy went to open it as Willow continued eating. She opened the door. "Hey." The figure on the other side said before leaning in to kiss her, only Buffy turned, giving him the cheek.

"We need to talk Angel." Buffy said, as she pulled him into the kitchen so that the redhead wouldn't have to witness the breakup. Willow tried not to listen...but she couldn't help overhearing certain parts of the conversation.

"I was a bet Angel!" She heard Buffy yell.

"So? That doesnt mean anything. I really liked you." He said, doing his best to sound hurt.

"Yeah, well, I don't care much for you at the moment...In fact, I care more for someone else, so.... we're over. By the way, I'm so telling your buddy's girlfriend. That's bullshit." Buffy said disgusted, and Willow heard a smack echo through out the house.

"You'll never find someone as good as me. And you know why? Because you're a filthy whore!" Angel spat out at the blonde.

"Too late, I've found someone ten times better than you already." Buffy said, and Willow could hear the hurt in her voice. "So, get the hell out of my house."

She watched Angel leave, muttering something about payback being a bitch, with a large pink handprint on his cheek as he slammed the door shut. Then Buffy went to go and lean against the doorframe of the living room, looking more exhausted and defeated than anything else. She closed her eyes, in an effort to hold in the tears, before Willow opened her arms.

"C'mere Baby." She said to Buffy, and the blonde did the only thing she wanted to do, walk straight towards those arms, and lose herself in the redhead.
