Buffy was terrified. It didn't seem this could possible be happening. "WILLOW!! Don't let them do this to you."

Willow seem to blink and stagger a step backwards but Amy/Daphne held her still by their bound arms.

"I love you Willow. I love you. Don't do this to us." Buffy was all but crying. At the same time she was struggling with the ropes until her wrists were raw. In between she kept calling, trying to reach through Willow's consciousness.

Buffy could see that Amy/Daphne's eyes, which were closed, snapped open. "SHE"S NOT DOING IT, MOM. SHE'S STAYING.!!!" She pointed her free hand at Willow

"That can't be," Morgan protested looking around in confusion having stopped her droning reading.

"She's not." Amy/Daphne voice started rising as she pleaded with her mother. "She's not. Do something mom. Make her!!"

Morgan spun toward Buffy her face contorted with rage. "Shut up you bitch. Shut your fucking mouth!"

"I love you Will," Buffy called ignoring the woman. Her hands were twisting out of her bonds. She could feel the warm slipperiness of blood on her wrists.

Morgan was charging at her. "Shut up."

When she reached Buffy she measured her then aimed a devastating kick toward Buffy's face. Buffy twisted aside just before it landed and the force of the kick's miss sent Morgan whirling and staggering.

She fell just as Buffy felt her hands come free. Morgan was momentarily stunned when she landed and while she gasped for breath Buffy freed her ankles and jumped to her feet.

"Now we're on even terms," she said dropping into her attack stance as Morgan regained her feet.

Amy/Daphne was trying to untie her wrist from Willow's so she could go to her mother's aid. She saw a large stone just to the right of her. A perfect weapon, she thought. Willow saw it too. She was no longer in the trance like state she had been before and she yanked her arm so Amy/Daphne's fingers fell away before she could successfully untie the knot that held her wrist to Willow's.

Instead she went after Willow slamming the red head into the wall behind her. She grabbed a handful of Willow's hair and tried to bang the Wiccan's head against against the wall. As painful as it was, Willow twisted her head free and both girls stumbled to the ground. they rolled over first one on the top, then the other. Locked in combat the girls lashed and swung at each other with their free hands.

They regained their feet and when they did Willow had the upper hand. Barely. But Amy/Daphne was the stronger of the two and she was forcing Willow back against the wall again. In desperation Willow made a quick spin and her lashed arm whipped her attacker into the wall with a solid thud.

Amy/Daphne's head hit and the girl slowly crumbled onto the floor unconscious.

While Willow worked on the binding knot. She also kept glancing at Buffy. Buffy was now in her element. She circled Morgan a feeling of satisfaction filling Buffy. She knew the outcome was no longer in doubt. The woman was no match for the Slayer

Morgan knew too. She saw her daughter crumbled on the floor. Though she didn't know Buffy was a Slayer, it wasn't necessary. She could see just by the posture of the blond that this was not just a show. The girl was trained. And Morgan was not.

"Okay," Morgan gasped. "It's over. You win. Let me go to my daughter."
