-Sorry Howard, but there is no meaning behind Taylor's name. Just a normal name for a normal girl.-
Once the nurse took Taylor for the night, I pulled Willow onto the bed with me. Most of my pain was gone, so I wanted to hold my wife as just Buffy. Well considering we were married while I was carrying Taylor, this would be a first for Wil and I as wife and wife. Yeah I know, where was the wedding in my contraction nostaglia.

Shortly after arriving in England, Wil and I got registered and quickly planned the wedding, and since the family was pretty much here, there were no invitations needed. I had asked Dawn to stand beside me along with Tara while Willow picked Kennedy and Faith. I would have asked Faith, but getting Tara is a dress was easier.
Giles gave me away since he is my step-dad now. Yeah, apparently during the resting/healing in LA, Mom and Giles got married hush-hush and took Fred and Wes with them. Xander gave Willow away, and I think it was the first time I have ever seen him cry. The reception was a surpise for Mom and Giles though because Wil and I wanted to share it with them.
I'd say about my eighth month, Kennedy came to Mom, Giles, Wil, and I asking for our blessing to marry Dawn. Everyone but me were big with the woohoos as I took her aside and gave her the protective sister speech before hugging her. It hadn't been a big surprise to me since Dawn and I had been talking about weddings and babies, and I could see the love she has for Kennendy while we talked.

I laid on the bed stroking my hands up and down Willow's back while she slept. I can't wait to hear what Tara and Faith think about being Taylor's godparents. Probably the same as Xander and Anya were when we asked them to be Daniel's. The day was finally taking its' toll on me as I felt myself joining Wil in slumber knowing tomorrow was going to be a big day for Taylor.
I woke up really warm, and when I opened my eyes I found I had a Willow blanket, and we weren't alone, "Mornin' B. Thought Tara and I would get here early for the first showing of your little girl," Faith said as I noticed she was holding Tara in her lap.
"She should be joining us shortly for her morning feeding, and you both look good. I still can't believe that Dawn and Kennedy are beating you two to the altar," I said teasing knowing how much it bothers Faith, "So Faith, any thoughts of knocking up your own Wiccan?" asking when I noticed that Faith hid her face in Tara's back, "Congrats, you two."
It was at this point that Willow woke up and opened her eyes giving me a huge smile as I nodded in the direction of our friends. She sat up and then interlocked our fingers, "Faith, Tara, we would like you to be Taylor's godparents," Wil announced as Tara started to cry while Faith just beamed. Their actions meant more than words ever could.
Faith and Tara gave us privacy when the nurse brought Taylor in while Wil called and made sure the family were on their way. After burping her, I just held her as she looked around before looking directly at me and Wil. It was then that I got why Mom was the way she was with me and Dawn even after finding out about me being the Slayer. Slayer or not, I was her baby always, and she would move heaven and earth to keep me safe, and that is exactly how I am feeling about Taylor right at this moment.
When Tara and Faith came back in, they brought Dawn and Kennedy with them and shortly after that, Mom and Giles. I'm assuming Anya wanted one more orgasm since her and Xander were running late. Ten minutes later, they came in, and Anya looked really relaxed while Xander looked a little tired. I propped Taylor up a little higher on my arm, so all could see.
"I want to introduce you all to the newest member of the family, Taylor Christine Rosenberg-Summers. We have asked, and Tara and Faith have agreed to be her godparents. So, who wants the first hold?" asking while smirking, "I think it should be grandma," snickering as Giles gave me the famous 'Watcher' glare in case I had any notion of calling him grandpa while Mom came over and picked up Taylor.
I held Wil tightly as we watched Taylor make her rounds. Dawn took her time, no doubt telling her that she will be the one Taylor runs to when her moms are being unreasonable. I watched as Giles held her as I realized that he would make a great father, and I know the risks of pregnancy at their age, but there is always adoption. I think 'Daddy' Giles would be so cute.
Xander and Anya seem to have the same look as Faith and Tara. Hmm, I guess the big fight got everybody thinking about the future because it looks like we have the beginnings of the Scooby Gang: The Next Generation. When Xander handed Taylor to Faith, my eyes filled with tears watching the way she was doting over my little girl. She is going to make a great mom.
When I let out a yawn, Mom took charge and booted everyone out. I'm sure she wanted me to sleep, but I think she also wanted more granddaughter time. Well, she did the same thing after Daniel was born, so it wasn't like it was out of the blue. I just laid my head on Willow's shoulder before falling asleep.
