Remember Me?

by Lost

Chapter Six

[reviews]

Buffy awoke as the thunder cloud boomed overhead. She smiled down at the redhead in her arms and kissed her on the temple. Willow stirred lightly in her sleep and as Buffy watched, her eyes fluttered open and a lazy smile graced the redhead's lips. "Morning." Buffy said as she leaned down and placed a slow kiss on Willow's lips. When she pulled back Willow snuggled more into the blondes side.

"Morning." She replied. "So how are things doin'? Up here I mean?" Willow asked as her fingers traced little swirlies on the blonde's temple. Buffy shrugged in response. Willow raised her eyebrows and shrugged in response. "And this means?"

"I dont know...its like.... I think it's all back, but I dont really know. I still dont remember the night before I woke up, but I think that's all thats missing." The blonde answered. She smiled down at her wife, remembering back to when they had first gotten together. She smiled as she leaned down and kissed the redhead again. "I kind of love you, you know?"

"Mhmm, and thats just the way its supposed to be." Willow answered and pulled the blonde on top of her.

Buffy's fingers began to work her way down Willows stomach when the door opened a bit. "Oops, sorry guys." Dawn said as she pulled her head back out of the room. Buffy sighed as she rolled off of Willow and sat on the edge of the bed and gathered her pajamas up and put them back on. Willow stopped her midway by coming up behind her and wrapping her alabaster arms around Buffy's stomach, placing a soft kiss on her shoulder.

Buffy turned and kissed the redhead. "We have to get up...and get dressed. I need to work on remembering that night." She said softly and watched as the redhead nodded in understanding before getting up and pulling her clothes back on as well.

They left the room holding hands and walked towards the now crowded breakfast nook. "Morning everyone." Willow said, her usual perky self in the morning. Buffy on the other hand seemed to need some coffee to wake her up completely. Buffy sat down on the nearest chair after getting her caffiene and let Willow sit on her lap.

"Buffy, do you remember....?" Giles asked as he stared at the obviously comfortable with themselves couple.

"Yes, well, nearly all of it. I dont remember the night before I lost my memory." She said with a slight nod.

"That's amazing, and how did this occur?" He asked as everyone else in the group just kind of stared at the blonde.

"Well, you see..." She started out at the same moment as Willow turned an interesting shade of red and started at the same time with:

"This was not my idea...." And so the gang got told of how Buffy drempt her whole lifes history the night before. The only thing left out was what had triggered the dream.

"The spell must have just worn off." Willow said, nodding unconvincingly.

Two years in the future:

Buffy watched the couple sitting there feeling a sense of nastalgia as she watched them cuddle. "Pffft, worn off my ass." She said as she saw herself two years younger go and pounce on her children.

"Wake up sleepy heads!" The younger Buffy yelled as she tickled Jillian and Lyssa awake. She smiled sadly as she looked down at the scar that made its way up her arm. She wouldnt have that much longer to save them....and from there on things would just get worse until everyone she held dear was either gone or dead. She sighed dejectedly and turned from the glowing orb. As she stood her vision blurred and an oddly familiar voice made its way through her dark vision.

"Soon she'll fall." Was all it said. She steadied herself holding onto the chair. She shook her head, clearing her vision.

"Everything okay Dear?" Sophie asked as she walked into the room to find Buffy clutching onto the chair as if it was her life support.

"Yes...fine." The blonde said as she let go of the chair and walked out of the room, still holding onto her head a little bit.

Back in the present:

"Jillian, Lyssa, lunch is ready!" Willow yelled down the hall of the apartment. She was two feet away from the front door when she heard a slightly hesitant knock issuing from it. "I'll get it." She said to the living room as Dawn stood up to answer the door.

She reached down and grabbed the handle, twisitng it and slowly pulling open the door.

"Hi Red." Faith said from the other side of the door. She looked bruised and battered. The last time anyone at all in the gang had seen the raven haired slayer had been before she left the blonde.

"Faith." Was all she said in greeting. She hadn't had a problem with the dark haired girl, but that was before she had hooked up and married her ex girlfriend. Willow let the door swing open and Faith stepped in.

Buffy was walking down the hallway when she saw Willow at the door. "Baby, who's at the door?" She asked and as she watched Faith stepped into the room.

A/N: So thoughts? Sorry it took so long to update (and sorry for the shortness)....since the last chapter I've been arrested (for something I didn't even DO) AND laid off. So, yeah...this has been the week from hell. Literally.- L.
