Remember Me?

by Lost

Chatper Seven

[reviews]

The group was gatherede around Dawns kitchen table, listening and watching with attentive eyes as Faith retold where she had been for the last seven years or so. "It wasn't easy, but they had a new life. And they looked happy, and..." She paused, tears welling up in her eyes. This was her family she was talking to. She had been closer to Buffy and Joyce than she had been to her real family. She shook her head slightly as if trying to shake the memories away. "Anyway though, the council had hid them pretty good. Also did a pretty good job of wiping their memories away." She shrugged as she looked around the table.

Buffy and Willow sat close together she noticed, but did her best to hold her tongue. It had been stupid of her to think that Buffy would wait eight years for her, she knew that. But they had twins who looked to be about five.

She let that drop though for the moment, figuring that there would be plenty of time for questions later. She noticed the two little girls seemed to be happy munching on their pb&j sandwiches and suddenly her stomach growled.

"Any chance I can get one of those Red?" It was out of her mouth before she even thought to stop the question. She had been traveling for days, and had looked up Joyces number a week agao. She had tried it but all she ever seemed to get was a busy signal, and there was no number listed for a 'Buffy Summers,' Although if she was with Willow that would make sense. And so the raven haired slayer had looked up Dawn. She had called and gotten her answering machine, but at least she knew that it was Dawnie's voice on that machine. And so here she was, and truth be told she wasnt exactly jumping for joy at watching how perfect everyone's life seemed to be.

Willow nodded her head yes and got up to make Faith's sandwich. She worked silently and when she returned she sat the food in front of Faith. There were two sandwiches and some chips, all of which was gone in two minutes flat.

"Thanks." Faith said before she looked around. "Any chance I can crash here for a bit D?"

Dawn nodded her head and motioned for her to follow. "I'll show you where the spare room is."

And so the two of them left the table, letting everyone think for a few minutes before Dawn returned.

********Two years in the future***********

"It's started, she has returned." Sophie said into the dark globe sitting in front of her.

"Perfect. And with any luck the spell that made her forget will aslo cloud her judgement enough so that she can't see what's right in front of her eyes." The voice said with a hint of amusement.

"What about the witch? Surely she will notice the Slayer is posessed?"

"No, she'll be too busy trying to figure out her beloved Slayer's memory loss to pay much heed to the other one."

"Perfect." Sophie replied before running her hand over the orb, letting the images dissolve under her fingers. "Perfect." She repeated softly to herself as she hobbled outside.

"Oh Buffy dear, I've made some tea if you'd like it?" She called out to the petite blonde.

"That'd be great Sophie, thanks." Buffy said as she toweled off some of the sweat working out had caused.

*********Present**********

She was running, chasing after someone, but who she couldn't tell.

"Buffy!" She heard her wife screm and she ran harder, as fast as she could towards the redhead.

Whoever had her was fast, matching the blonde's speed, the only saving grace being that Buffy seemed much more comfortable in the small town than the figure did.

Finally she reached a clearing with a giant fire in the center of it; and a large stake in the middle of that.

"Buffy!" Willow screamed from the stake even though there was no possible way she could have seen the blonde slayer. "Goddess Buffy, please get here in time!" She said mostly to herself in a low whisper, but that didn't stop the blonde from hearing her. Then everthing turned black as she jerked awake.

Buffy looked down at the redhead sleeping peacefully in the bed next to her. 'It was just a dream.' She thought, trying to calm herself down.

She settled back into the bed and let herself be carried back into what she hoped woulod be a dreamless sleep.

"Buffy, Buffy, geddup, we have to go." Was whispered into the sleeping blonde's ear. Or at least it seemed like it was whipsered. She felt a gentle nudging on her shoulder and a light caress on her brow before she managed to open her eyes. And when she did she was greeted by a room full of sun. She streched lazily and almost looked like she was going to get out of bed when her arms reached out and encircled Willow as she walked past, pulling the redheaded witch down back into the bed.

"Morning Love." She said as she palced a kiss on her wifes lips.

"Mmmm, as much as I love you sweetie, we can't mess around this morning, we've still gotta get Jillian and Lyssa up and ready for the ceremony." Willow said as she tried to put a stop to her wife's roaming hands.

All this statement did was earn a pout from the blonde. "Fine."

Willow sighed as she looked at the blonde below her, and leaned down for what she intended to be a quick kiss. Faith had showed up a day agao and from the way the raven haired slayer seemed to be flirting with her wife (even if it was only in a friendly way) Willow wanted nothing more than to mark the blonde laying beneath her as her own. But that wasn't an option at the moment, and besides which any hickies or supposedly lasting mark would be gone in mere hours thanks to slayer healing.

The redhead's breath hitched as she felt Buffy's hand cup her sex though the panties she was wearing. "Please Will?" The blonde slayer whispered in her ear, sending chills down her spine.

Both women knew she wasn't really asking permission, just as both knew that she could do whatever her little heart desired to her witch, and vice versa.

Willow felt nimble fingers massaging her lightly through the thin material just before she felt the material slowly moved aside and a finger slip down her wet folds to lightly play on her clit.

Her eyes dialated as she said, "We have to be quiet." Buffy breathed out an audible sigh of relief and quickly slid two fingers into her wife.

Willow's hands reached for the waistband to her wife's pajama bottoms and quickly slid inside. She slipped two fingers into the blonde and moved her knee so that it could add pressure before matching her wife's quick thrusts.

She felt her wife tighten around her fingers and leaned down to capture the blonde's lips and stop any noise that she might have made when she came. Over the years they had gotten very good at being silent during their love making so as not to wake their children, and they were putting those skills to good use this morning.

After they finished, Willow lay with her head on Buffy's shoulder, basking in the after glow of one of their many early morning sessions. Ten minutes later saw the couple still laying in post-coital bliss when a knock interrupted their internal musings. Willow wiggled her fingers slightly, having forgotten that they still rested inside of her blonde lover. She had been lazily coaxing the slayer up to another orgasm since they had finished.

"Don't move." She told the blonde as she pulled the covers up around them. "Come in." She called through the door, thanking the Goddess that she could at least sense that it wasn't their daughters on the other side of the door.

Dawn stuck her head in the room. "Just making sure that youre guys were up. Do you want me to wake Jillian and Lyssa?"

"Yeah Dawn, that'd be great, they're still asleep." The younger Summers nodded her head and left the room, shutting the door behind her.

"Guess we really have to get up then, huh?" Buffy asked as her hips rose up on their own when Willow wiggled her fingers again. "You better finish what you started Missy." Buffy mock pouted.

"There's nothing else I'd rather do. Willow replied with a smile on her lips.

When the two lovers graced the rest of their family with their presence, they were both showered and dressed for the ceremony.

Faith was laying on the couch, her feet hanging off the end. "Good luck D." was all she said before they left the apartment, leaving her with a little peace and quiet.

Dawn had of course invited her, but she had politely declined, saying she didn't want to crash but that she would show up to the after party.

Now all she wanted to do was work on getting her mind off of the 'freshly fucked' smell that only she could sense that seemed to be radiating off of her ex-girlfriend, and her wife. She sighed. This was gonna be a long day.
