Willow's Return

[reviews]

The outline, by Kirky:

Because of what willow did during her magic addiction she ran away, and then 3 or 4 years later she returns, when she returns she returns with her child (2 year old). The child was conceived by a one night stand.

The child is completly normal(human) little shy girl think of a infant willow LOL.

Willow is in love with Buffy and when she returns she find this it's Buffy feels the same way, they then start a relationship from there.

Also the story will still have Tara in it she never died (although she will be in a relationship with someone else for example faith)

I would like the story to include Joyce as well (she never died). The rest of the Scooby gang should also be in the story.

And most importantly the story must have an happy ending for Buffy, willow and her child.

(By the way, Willow is brunette in all my stories, purely cause she's just hotter like that =])

Chapter 1: Willow's Return

"Mommyyyy," Willow Rosenberg stopped rummaging through one of the cardboard boxes and turned to the little girl pulling on her trouser leg. She was a small child of about two, with brown hair, green eyes and the cutest little freckles you ever did see. She was the spitting image of her mother, only in miniature.

"What's the matter, baby?" she said soothingly, kneeling down and wrapping her little look-a-like into a hug.

"Hungry, mommy!" the toddler stated.

"Hungry?" Willow looked down at her watch. It was one o' clock, dinner time for the little girl. "Oh! Sorry, sweetheart, silly mommy forgot about food." She picked her daughter up and headed for the fridge, dodging several cardboard boxes in the process.

Willow had been unpacking all morning and had lost track of time. She had so much on her mind. What if the others found her before she was ready to see them? Would they even want anything to do with her? What would they make of her daughter?

Her decision to move back to Sunnydale was purely based on it being her hometown. She had lived there her whole life, and, passed the demons and other evil beings, it was a nice, friendly town which still maintained it's community spirit. She had heard of Buffy and a bunch of potential slayers closing the Hellmouth, properly, and felt it was safe to bring her daughter home.

Opening her fridge with one hand, she found she only had milk, eggs and cheese. She turned her head to the little girl, "Cheesy omlette?" she asked, hopefully.

The little girl smiled and nodded, "Yes, please."

Willow smiled at her daughter's manners and kissed her on the forehead, "Good girl."

She had just got the eggs out the fridge when she heard a knock at the door.

"I'll be back in a second, honey," she reassured her daughter.

She walked over to the door and opened it carefully, revealing a familiar woman on the other side.

"Willow?"

"Joyce?" Willow's eyes widened at the woman before her.

The two stood staring at each other for a couple of seconds before Joyce shook her head.

"I, umm, saw the moving vans and thought I'd welcome the new family to the neighbourhood," Joyce eyebrows scrunched together. Was Willow even with her family? From what she could tell of Willow's teenage years, her family had pretty much abandoned her. "Are you on your own?" she asked quietly.

"Uhhhh..." Willow was about to explain when her daughter ran up to her, slowing down when she saw the woman at the door, then hiding behind Willow's legs. "Not exactly," Willow said with a nervous smile. She picked up the little girl, "This is Paige," she took a deep breath before adding, "my daughter."

Joyce paled when she realised Willow was only 19 when she left three years ago. Joyce remembered she was two years younger than Buffy as she had skipped a couple of grades. Paige looked to be at least two years old and that meant Willow would have had to raise a child, by herself, from the age of 20. Joyce rushed a suprised Willow into a motherly hug. "We've missed you so much!"

Willow was shaking slightly as she wrapped a free arm around Joyce's back and resting her head on her shoulder. Their embrace was cut short when Paige started to squirm and whine a little inbetween them.

"Shh, it's ok, Paigey," Willow said bouncing her up and down on her hip, "this is Joyce. She's mommy's friend."

Paige looked at the woman and smiled shepishly, before burrying her head in her mother's shoulder.

"She's a little shy," Willow explained with a smile before realising that Joyce was still half-outside. "Oh! Sorry, Ms. Summers, please, come in." She apologised, ushering Joyce inside before closing the door behind her.

"Willow," Joyce thought about how to approach the situation, "is it ok if we talk?"

"Uhhh, yeah," she said looking at the floor, "I'll just put Paige in the living room, we can talk in the kitchen."
