A/N: Let me know what you think? Oh, lyrics are "Out of Control" by She Wants Revenge. - L.

They arrived at the Espresso Pump shortly and Buffy went to order everyone's drinks after they told her what they wanted. "So Will, you and B looked pretty comfy out the dance floor." Faith said as she fiddled with her girlfriend's hand on her thigh.

"Oh. Yeah, Buffy's a great dancer." Willow said as she managed to unglue her eyes from the blonde and glanced up at Faith.

"Yeah, and she's really pretty." Tara said, catching Faith's eye and nodding towards Willow.

"Oh yeah," Faith said with a smirk of understanding. "She's a hottie."

Willow quickly spared a second to look at the couple in front of her. "Yeah, she really is." Was all the redhead got in before Buffy came to the table with four drinks.

"Okay, We've got a vanilla thai latte," She said, handing the drink off to Tara, "A double shot of espresso," She passed the cup to Faith; making a face at the straight caffiene, "And a mocha." She placed the last glass in front of Willow, and everyone got a little bit quieter as they all sipped their drinks.

"So B, how long have you been in Sunnydale?" Faith asked when it looked like no one was going to pick up the conversation.

"Uhm, maybe a week?" She asked uncertainly. "It took me longer to get here than I've been here if that makes sense." Buffy said as she took the cap off of her drink and stirred it.

"Where are you gettin your blood from?" The raven haired slayer asked.

Everyone at the table except for Tara seemed unfazed by the question. However, the blonde witch for her part nearly spit out her drink. "W-what?" She sputtered.

"Buffy glanced up at Tara. "You didn't tell her?" She asked increduously as she looked at the girl in front of her.

"Oh, no. Musta slipped my mind." Faith said with a quick shrug.

"The butchers. To answer your question. I'm getting it from the butchers." Buffy said as she glanced down at her hands.

"Why would you need blood?" Tara asked, "I mean, I saw you outside, during the day and ...." She let her words trail off.

"Yeah.... I'm a vampire, but I swear, I have a soul, and I'm not evil....?" Buffy held her hands up as if to question what more the blonde could ask of her.

Tara looked at her for a minute as if sizing her up, then she glanced quickly at her girlfriend, then back at Buffy. She shrugged. "Okay.... when did you die?" She asked, her eyebrows scrunching up in question.

"Uhm, a while back." Buffy said with a small smile.

After that little bombshell was dropped, the conversation went smoothly, it transgressed from art to what classes everyone was taking to social lifes. "So youre single huh?" Faith asked, quirking her eyebrows up at Tara when Buffy nodded.

"Yeah, you kinda...well, ya know, lose anyone you might've been dating when you turn evil..." Buffy added.

"I bet you would." Faith shrugged. "Wouldn't know from experience though."

Willow for her part was about to jump into the conversation, yup, any minute now. Unfortuantly she couldn't really take her eyes off of the blonde. Especially when she talked; there was just something about her that was almost... magnetic? to the redhead.

*****At the game shop across town*****

Xander looked down at his dice. "Oh come on, youve got to be kidding me." He said as he read the numbers in front of him. It would all depend on his invincibility now. 'Good thing I decided to go with him.' He said as he thought about his monster of a character. He was half troll, half minitar, and the only thing that could kill him was fire. Hell he could fall a mile out of the sky and walk away from it. He shrugged as he watched the other players roll their dice. Hopefully he wouldn't sustain too many damage points.

Unfortuantly, as luck would have it, his character was killed off ten minutes later, and so he stood around, waiting for the others to finish so they could all walk home together. Safety in numbers ya know.

"Did you die then?" The blonde, 'Anya, that was her name,' asked him.

"Uhm, yeah. I guess I did." He wasn't too disappointed, but he wasn't thrilled either.

"Well, would you like to buy a magazine? It might make you feel better?" She asked as she looked at gaming magazines that were displayed there, each with a cover of a thin busty young woman fighting.

"Nah, thanks. Hey, would you like to go out for some coffee sometime?" He asked her on the off chance that she'd say yes. He had already decided that it was time to break it off with Willow way before his character had died, he just hoped she wouldn't be too upset.

"Why?" Anya asked him.

He stared back at her, "Uhm, I meant as a date?"

"Oh so you would pay then?" She asked staring at him again.

"Traditionally, yes." He replied to her, his eyebrows knitting in confusion. This girl was kind of strange.

"Yes. I would. When?" She asked with a giant smile plastered across her face.

"Uhm, tomorrow?"

"Yes!" she replied.

"Alright guys, lets pick up and head out." The Dungon Master said as everyone stood up from their seats. It had been a long night in the D&D-ing world, and everyone was tired.

"Great, well, I'll meet you here, at say... five thirty?" He asked her.

"In the morning or the afternoon?"

"Uhm, afternoon?" This girl was really confusing him, not to mention his walking buddies were leaving.

"Okay, be careful, dont get killed on the way home!" She called after him as he made his way out of the store. He shook his head as he walked, thinking about the new strange girl he had just asked out.

*****Espresso Pump*****

"Sorry guys, but we're closing." The barista said as she ushered them out the door.

"We're gonna do a quick patrol, we'll see you guys later?" Tara asked as her and Faith headed off in the opposite direction of the campus. Willow nodded yes and everyone said their goodbyes before they split up.

"So..." Buffy started, she didn't have anything to say, but the silence enveloping the two of them wasn't exactly comfortable. "Are you tired?" She asked the redhead.

"No, not at all, that mocha made me kinda bzzzz." Willow said smiling happily. She hadn't talked much at the Espresso Pump and she hoped that Buffy hadn't noticed. Usually she was a chatter box, heck she could babble her way out of a paperbag, but she had sipped her mocha quietly, just watching the way Buffy's face lit up when she talked about art, and the way that she slid so easily into her group of friends without qualms.

"Hmm, well, its" Buffy glanced down at her phone, "Midnight. What's open still?" She asked. She didn't want to admit it, but she wasn't ready for the night to end either.

"Not much. At least not in Sunnydale." Willow replied with a sigh. They were walking close together through the main street of the small town, and Willow knew that the game shop Xander was at was still open, but that would be pretty much it.

Buffy swung her hands as she walked, letting the back of her palm and her fingers lightly brush Willow's own. "Thanks for inviting me tonight." Buffy said when she could think of nothing else.

"Oh yeah, sure, no problem, hmmm, we could always go and dance? I mean, the bronze is open til four..." Willow threw the last comment out in almost sheer desperation.

Buffy nodded. "I could go for some more dancing. Let's go." She said with a dazzling smile as she reached out and grabbed Willows hand with the intention of dragging her towards the club; only she never let it go even when the club approached their line of sight.

They arrived in ten minutes and promptly started dancing. It was a slow song to start off with and when Buffy pulled her close, Willow didn't protest in the slightest. It felt almost natural to her, to be dancing with Buffy, her hands resting on the blonde's tiny hips.

The next song was slighty more suggestive, the techno rythem starting off slow enough at first for the two of them to find the beat together.

With her high heel against the wall
Kind of dancing, though not at all
She had stockings running up to her thighs
Snaps her fingers to keep the time

From the back of the room I saw her there
I said she wants to be alone and I shouldn't dare
But then she noticed me glance at her
I had no choice but to dance with her

Willow spared a look at the blonde dancing with her, instantly an image flashed in her mind of Buffy mimiking the girls actions in the song. She stared at the young vampire and suddenly started seeing her in a new light. While in her mind they danced close together, and her hand slid up the inside of Buffy's thigh; in reality they were moving closer and closer together.

The lights that move sideways and up and down
The beat takes you over and spins you round
Our hearts steady-beating, the sweat turns to cold
We're slaves to the DJ and out of control

I watched her feet move, her hips they sway
Does a hair flip then starts to say
Oh, my God, it's my favorite song
I pull her close and she sings along

Willow reached out her hand, waiting to see if Buffy would take it, and to her credit the blonde noticed the hand and accepted. She was pulled closer to Willow; and as she moved closer still to the redhead, she could smell her arousal for the second time that night. She glanced around quickly, deciding that if she wanted to she could kiss the girl and no one would be the wiser. The club was still packed, mostly with couples dancing.

We can't slow down even if we tried
If the record keeps spinning so will I
She likes disco and tastes like a tear
Tells me don't stop dancing and she's pulling me near

We've got nowhere to go, we've got nothing to prove
Instead of dancing alone, I should be dancing with you
This song is turning me on, the beat is doing me in
Or maybe it's only you, but either way, lets begin

As the song ended, Buffy quickly realized that she had moved so that her and Willow were pressing against one another, her leg had slipped inbetween the redhead's, and on the final beat she had accidently moved so that she put the slightest bit of pressure against her new roommates center. She glanced at the girl in front of her before quickly giving into the emotions that seemed to be swirling around her and leaning down, kissing the girl for all she was worth.
