I believe it was in Ahn's 'Wedding' Series. Buffy's Grandmother keeps
calling her Elizabeth and when people ask 'why?', that is what she tells
them.

I definately remember reading that, but it was in a fic (whose name
escapes me at the moment). So far as I know that's hwere it originally
came from.
