Loving Willow Til Death Do Us Part

It's not like she was trying to upset Willow. She'd honestly forgotten about the date the night before, and now? Willow was gone... Okay, so she was being overdramatic. She just went to the grocery store to pick up some things. When Buffy volunteered to tag along, so they could go grocery shopping together like they used to...Willow just brushed her aside, and said she wanted to go alone.

Now...that wasn't a Willowy thing to do. It was one of the redhead's favorite activities: grocery shopping with Buffy. She thought it made them even more domestic.

She'd left over an hour ago...and Buffy could feel there was a fight brewing, since the redhead hadn't 'cooled down' at all since her drama last night. The blonde misses one date? Buffy couldn't wrap her head around it.

To top it all off, she'd run into Glory last night, and was beat to a bloody pulp again. It was the first time Willow didn't say anything about her injuries, or ask how patrol was...or even acknowledge the fact that her lip was split and her face was bruised. Buffy was in the doghouse...but couldn't figure out why?

Giles was flying out to England to see if he could discover something from the Council, see if they had any information on this Glory demon. Every time she ran into the curly-headed demon, Buffy found herself on the ground more than not. She wasn't used to being beat constantly, and she wanted to know what in the world she was up against...exactly. Especially if she was supposed to protect Dawn...

Buffy had decided that she'd let the redhead yell...get it out of her system, and then she'd explain what had happened.

At least, that was the plan...as soon as the redhead walked in the door, she ignored her again, and Buffy had had enough.

"ENOUGH OF THIS!" Buffy added for emphasis.

"What, Buffy? I thought you liked these crackers." Willow was caught wide-eyed, caught in the middle of putting up the groceries. The shopping had managed to calm her nerves down; she found odd solace in the store. They would figure something out...

There was no way Willow was willing to give up Buffy that easy. She'd fight to the death...'well, okay, maybe that's a little bad to say living on the Hellmouth...because...hello...could really happen, does happen every night almost with Buffy out on patrol.'

"Sorry...It's just...I can't take anymore of the ignoring. I didn't get any Willow cuddles last night, and I'm broken." Buffy pouted, and knew Willow was a goner when the redhead rolled her eyes in amused anger.

"Well...we have a lot to talk about...and it's not just about you standing me up last night." Willow finished putting up all the refrigerated things, and went to sit down on the couch. Buffy followed, as she always would...
