Chapter Four
A/N: sorry that the chapters are so short, I actually wrote this a coupla years ago and just now found it again on my computer >.< as the story continues along, (basically past chapter nine) the chapters will hopefully leangthen out a little bit. -L.
Willow pulled herself off of the island, and stood up, straightening her clothes as she did so. Xander was still watching Buffy with too much interest for her liking.
"So, what are you doin' here Xand?" Willow said with forced cheerfulness...he had after all interrupted something that was a lot more fun than talking. Buffy heard the 'cheerfulness' and knew that Willow was upset at Xander...but if he knew he certainly didn't let on.
"Well, I just wanted to see what was goin on with my two favorite girls." He said, barely prying his eyes away from Buffy's butt.
"Actually we were just going to change..then go on a quick patrol...we've got some stuff to talk about. And then we were gonna come home and talk about the suckiness that is boys" she said, hoping that he would take the hint. But of course he didn't.
"Cool. I'll wait for you guys down here." He obviously got the hint, but had wasn't going to follow its instructions.
Buffy turned around to Willow, and finally figured out what would make Xander leave... "Will, do you have any tampons with you? Cause other wise were gonna have to go to the store." Willow quickly caught on as Xander turned bright red.
"Okay...I can see this is obviously gonna be one of those girls only nights. Bye!" he said, practically diving for the front door.
As soon as the door shut she moved Willow back to her position on the island, and moved back to her previous position. She looked up into her best friends eyes. "I'm sorry Baby. I know that you don't like it when he stares.....but you know that I love you, right?"
Willow nodded and leaned down for a feather-light kiss. She pulled back. "I love you." Then she slowly drops off the island and pulls her girlfriend up against her. "Lets go and change." she whispers quietly into Buffy's ear. Buffy shivers in delight and grabs Willow's hand, leading her up the stairs.
