Hope you guys like it so far. Enjoy :D

The pounding in her head was all she felt as she started to come to. Groaning at the pain she held her head. With her slayer hearing she heard Willow wake and whimper. Untangling herself from the tiny girl she got up and moved to the other side of the bed. "Willow?" Speaking gently and softly she tried not to add to her pain.

Hearing a voice she tried to understand it. Everything seemed to be falling around her and she was getting very sick from the dizziness. She had no idea of where she was or what happened. Sitting up way to fast she quickly spoke, "Dylan."

Pushing the girl back down Buffy spoke quietly. "She's ok. She's here." With that answer the exhausted witch faded back into blackness. Looking up at the clock Buffy noticed how late it was. Still hours to be slept she looked over at an awake Dylan. The girl was shaking slightly as she curled into a ball.

Covering her friend back up before returning to the girl, gently picking her up the young girl wrapped her arms tightly around the slayers neck. Swaying with each step she left the room and headed downstairs.

Turning on a few lights, more for the child's sake than her own, she made her way to the kitchen. Easily pouring a glass of milk one handed and grabbing a few left over cookies she went back to the living room. Sitting on the couch Dylan's tremors subsided some. Adjusting the girl to sit on her lap the two had a cookie and some milk.

Once done Dylan returned to the arms of the woman caring for her. Wanting to comfort the girl she carefully held her. Pulling a blanket from the back of the couch she covered the two up before turning the TV on. Finding cartoon network the two lay there watching.

It wasn't long until Dylan and maneuvered into a very snuggly position with Buffy being equally, but extremely aware, comfortable as well. The small redhead lying onto of the woman, whose arms were securely holding the little one close.

Joyce was the first to come down the stairs. Seeing the two so close warmed her heart. Buffy had not been close with anyone these four years. To see her taking so fondly to the toddler was something she didn't see coming so fast. Making a pot of coffee, she began making breakfast.

Upstairs a redhead was stretching tired limbs. Eyes still closed she felt around for the little body that was always beside hers. Not feeling anything she quickly opened her eyes, searching the room for her baby. Noticing that her daughter wasn't there she also noticed this wasn't her room.

Trying to remember what happened nothing really came to mind. The only things she knew were that she was in Buffy's room and her daughter was missing. Getting out of bed she quickly made her way downstairs to find someone to explain what had happened.

Upon hitting the stairs she found her daughter, sleeping in the strong arms of her friend. Walking slowly towards the two she noticed several items from her house in the corner. Standing rather dumbfounded before Joyce came up, laying a hand on her shoulder to get her attention.

Putting her finger on her lips she signaled to the kitchen. Nodding her head she lightly patted her daughters head before following her only mother figure. Sitting on a stood she received a cup of coffee before Joyce sat beside her.

"What happened?" She didn't know what else to say. Last thing she remembered was having a great time at the barbeque, after that nothing.

Putting her cup down the oldest Summers sighed before look straight into confused emerald eyes. "Giles showed up." Looking down Willow waited for her to finish. "He is being a typical..." Joyce almost said something very unlike herself. She had trusted her daughter to him. Trusted everyone that she cared about for him to watch over and this is what he did. Taking a very deep, calming breath she tried to continue.

"Giles thinks your dangers. The rest of us don't." Starting to get bits and pieces of flashbacks coming to her mind, the ex Watcher with more Englishmen trying to do something. It didn't make sense. There was a lot of fighting and words spoken between the two parties, but all that's clear is the extreme pain.

"Something happened to me. What happened?" She needed answers. What she experienced was something so hard to explain and comprehend she was having a hard time understanding. It was like something was trying to pull something out of her. Pulling and pushing inside her body and mind.

"Seems Giles and the council wanted you to do something to prove that you can't be trusted, Tara was there and she stopped him. I'm sorry I can't tell you more dear." Laying her hands atop the mothers she tried to help comfort her. "The others can help you more with that part. All I really know is that they are willing to do anything to get you." Squeezing the hands in hers she finished. "We aren't going to let anything happen to you or Dylan."

That was right, they threatened to take Dylan. She couldn't live without her little girl. She was the main reason she had been so strong, fighting everything within her at times just to see that beautiful daughter of hers. The urge to hold her little girl was strong as she thought about the real possibility of losing her.

Just at that moment Buffy seemed to giggle at something. Walking out of the kitchen and into the living room she saw her girl tickling the all powerful slayer. Looking though a curtain of red hair she spotted her mother. "Mommy!" Carefully letting the little girl down as she ran into her mothers arms.

Picking up her bundle of joy she gave her a big hug. Not willing to let her go just yet. Buffy sat up on the couch, watching mother and daughter. Smiling at the two she began to get up and help her mother with breakfast. Easily slipping past the two she gave her mother a quick peck on the cheek before heading towards the fridge and pulling out a cartoon of eggs, bacon, butter and milk.

Smiling at her daughter she took a seat as instructed. "So Buffy what are your plans for the day?" Sipping her coffee she waited for an answer.

Cracking a dozen or so eggs as she replied, "I am going to find out what the council and his men are up to. Make sure we have everything ready incase they try to pull what they did yesterday. Maybe I could see if Tara could do a tracking spell on Giles and see where he is. Then we can watch him." Mixing the ingredients she started ticking off her list.

Getting up Joyce gave her daughter a hug before helping by cooking the bacon. "Well I think that would be a great idea. Wish there was more I could do to help you guys. I mean..." Joyce was at a lost for words. Here her redheaded daughter and grandchild were being wanted by the council and she had no way of doing anything.

"Mom, you do more than you know." Seeing that her mother didn't believe her she stopped what she was doing and nudged her mom, getting her attention. "Mom you are pretty much the only mother any of us have. Knowing that you are behind us is more than anything we could have asked for." Getting teary eyed Buffy held her mother. Knowing this was a very emotional time for her, heck everyone in the gang.

"Thanks Buffy, you always have been a good kid." Wiping her tears away she finished on her task while her daughter did the same. Light chit chatting back and forth until everything was done. Willow had come in and finished setting the table for everyone.

Dawn had finally drug herself out of bed and stumbled into the dining room. Everyone sat around the table quietly eating without knowing what to really say. Too many things were going on for there to be ease within the group. As the family finished eating Willow offered to clean up. "Oh no you don't Wills. You need your rest after yesterday." Buffy said getting up and gather the dishes.

"I'm pretty sure I slept enough yesterday." Collecting hers' and her daughters' dishes she headed towards the kitchen. Buffy quickly followed while Joyce and Dawn got ready for their days. Dylan went to her corner of toys and finding her favorite stuffed animal and playing with it.

Willow began loading the dishwasher with Buffy reluctantly letting her. Buffy helped load and clean the kitchen until everything was done. "See, that wasn't so bad."

Buffy agreed, as the two headed to find the little girl. Watching her snuggle with a stuffed, looking up at them she said, "Woof Woof." Cracking both women up she smiled and kept saying it.

"Thanks Buffy, for yesterday." She still couldn't look her friend in the eye. Moving forward Buffy pulled her friend into her arms. Willow tried not to cry as the strong slayer held her, making her feel safer than could ever remember being.

"It's going to be ok. Tara's got the magic blocked. Oh and we were thinking of a way to do a location spell on Giles, so we could at least watch him. See where he's going, keep an eye on him." The slayer knew this wasn't really helping all that much, but she needed to try and assure her as best she could. "Faith and I are also going to Willies and make sure if anyone hears anything they come tell us."

Willow smiled into the blonds shoulder. The thought that her family trusted her after such a short come back surprised her. They had picked her over the father figure of the group. Giving a quiet, "Thank you," Willow squeezed her before pulling back.

"Um, Willow," the slayer didn't want Willow to be alone. With them pushing to get Willow she didn't like the idea of not being around her old friend. Looking her in the eye she gathered her courage. "I, really don't want you to be alone. Will you please stay."

Willow was thinking the along the same lines. She didn't want to be alone, it was safer for her daughter if it wasn't just the two of them. There were things the two needed back at her house, but other than that it was smarter for them to stay. "Are you sure? I mean, we can be a handle," looking over at her daughter as she spoke.

"Wills, we love the two of you, and I think my mother likes the idea of being a grandmother." Both laughed, knowing it was true. "Besides, I'm not ready to let my favorite redheads go," putting her arm over the taller girls' shoulders. "So what do ya say? Stay, for a bit longer? Think of it as an extended sleep over."

She could see Willow trying to come up reasons not to. "You and Dylan can stay in my room. I'll bunk with Dawn. Everything will be great, promise." Still seeing the hesitation she put on her best puppy dog face.

The redhead had no chance after that, rolling her eyes as she agreed. Nearly dancing with happiness the slayer gave the hacker one of her famous bear hugs. "Buffy, Buffy, air," releasing her grip she smiled. Not believing her luck and with such excitement she kissed her friend on the cheek.

Willow simply giggled at her over excited friend. "Well we should get what we need before it gets much later." Buffy still had no words, nodding her head she ran for the door. Shaking her head she couldn't stop laughing, quickly changing Dylan into day clothes before following Buffy to the door. "Worse than my two year old." Whispering the last bit under her breath she received a playful 'hey' before closing the door.

One man stood at the end of the table while 10 others listened. "We must get the witch and her daughter. We don't know what powers the two may poses. One, Willow Rosenberg has killed under the powers of magic and nearly destroyed the world. That was years ago, her powers have grown and we can't take the risk of letting it unleashed again."

Taking a moment he paused. "Bring the mother back, dead or alive. The child I want unharmed. Is that clear? Dylan Rosenberg is to be brought to me, using any means necessary. Although extreme caution is required, there are two slayers and a witch as well as other slayers and a few members of the demonic world at their reach."

Nodding to the man beside him he waited. The older man with glasses stood. "Thank you Travelers, my name is Rubert Giles and I have information that each of you will need in order to acquire our targets."

The lights went out as a picture came on the screen behind him. It was of the gang at the barbeque. Pointing to each he named them all, describing each person's strengths and weaknesses. Travelers stood up at the end of the now ex Watchers speech. "We must get that child!"
