Chapter 16...
***********************************************************************************
Buffy was woken by some rude person shaking the back of her chair.

"B, B, America's over there!!" Faith sounded excited, contrary to her cool and collected usual self.

"Meh?" Buffy replied eyes still half shut. "Oh!"

She went to bring her arm round to rub her eyes with her hands, forgetting the sleeping witch was still wrapped up in one. The witch's head jolted forwards into the seat in front with a thud and rebounded into her own chair.

"Oh my god, Will!" Buffy looked mortified. "I'm sorry, sweetie!"

Willow sat there, startled and confused, mouth open slightly. "What happened?"

"I woke up..." Buffy explained, Willow still looked confused.

"Huh?"

"Look, America!" Buffy said, pointing over Willow and out the window, quickly changing the subject.

When Willow looked out the window, they had just eached the border. She smiled. "Hi," she waved slightly and Buffy chuckled at her. Willow turned back to Buffy and smiled at her.

Willow stepped through the door of Buffy and Dawn's house.

"Woah, Buff. This house reminds me of Sunnydale." She hadn't seen the house yet, Kennedy had taken her away only a couple of weeks after the battle with the First, and at that point they were still living with Angel and the gang.

Buffy smiled. "Yeah, we tried to make it as homey as possible, give it that 'Sunnydale but without the Hellmouth' vibe."

"Sunnydale without the Hellmouth..." Willow pondered for a moment, "that's gotta be an oxymoron."

The girls giggled. "C'mon, I'll show you your room."

"I have a room?" Willow asked as her eyes widened in excitement.

"Of course!" Buffy giggled again, then led her upstairs. "Wouldn't be home without a Willowy room."

Willow was touched.

She followed Buffy along the corridor to the room on the end. They went inside and Willow's jaw dropped a little. It was beautiful. It was so tastefully decorated. The window sill opposite the door was filled with candles and ornaments Buffy knew Willow would like. Looking to her right, Willow saw that the light green, custom made Italian sheets that lay across the king-size four poster bed matched the colour of the walls. Bed side tables stood either side, one with a small lamp on and the other with a picture of Buffy and herself, playing on the beach like little girls, smiling like maniacs, taken about a week after the First battle. A bookshelf was placed in one corner and a desk with a laptop sitting on it in the other. On the opposite side of the room, was a huge wardrobe, with a full length mirror running down the middle. Pictures of Willow and various scoobies that were taken in those few short weeks were dotted about the walls.

"Wow," Willow was at loss for words.

"You like it?" Buffy asked, nervously. She'd really put her heart into this room, making it match Willow's personality. She'd be pretty crushed if it weren't up to Willowy stantards.

Willow couldn't speak, she just turned around and hugged her friend close. A little tear rolled down her cheek and she managed to get out a quiet: "It's perfect."

Buffy let out a relieved sigh as she cuddled the witch. "Good," she pulled out of the embrace and smiled. "Hey, you haven't even seen the best part yet!" Buffy walked over to a door a few feet down from the wardrobe and opened it. "Your own en-suite."

Both girls laughed.

Sorry, short chapter I know, I have writers block... probably.
Also, I must apologise again, this time for not updating yesterday, this is the first time I've been out of bed (except to pee and eat [not at the same time, by the way! ewww]) in two days as THE [most amazing] girlfriend got back from holiday late Saturday night. WOOP WOOP. She has the best hangover cures, too! She's the best, obviously! Who has just gone to work =[ crap, crap, bloody crap!!

ANYWAY, the reason I'm telling you this is now she's back I probably won't be updating as much as I have done.

SORRYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYY.
