OT: Flames, writing, leaving, liststuff..(just read !)

First. Let me say AAARRRRGGGHHHH!!!

*big heapin sigh* Okay, now I feel better. No, I'm not leaving! 
*whew* just had to get that out there right away. Rod was MIA for a few
months when real life smacked him over the head with a frying pan, and
while I may have real life stuff creep up on me now and then, I'm
certainly not going to leave the list. I mean, geez, Rod just made me
list mommy last week (for those of you who missed his proposal, our
short engagement, and inevitable *marriage* LOL) I'm yanking my fic
"The Ties That Bind" from the list because it felt like it was
unappriciated. I don't HAVE TO post it here. I have other (10 to be
exact) lists where it is probably more appropriate and will receive a
better reception. As Quindo said, I was working toward a Buffy/Willow
ending... a very big one, but it didn't seem like some people were 'in
the game' so to speak, so I've decided to just not go there. This was
going to be much like Angela's "Heartache" series where two possible
endings would be posted and I was going to branch out to the respective
relationships around part 9 or 10. I enjoy writing, I really do, and
these two lists along with WillTara and WillowSlashFic are my
favorite...so I was going to write one story with 2 strong slash
relationships...different endings in both so both WT and BW shippers
would be satisfied. I can't expect all of you to love everything I do,
and that's fine, so instead of killing myself with 2 different stories,
I made the decision to just stick with it being a WT fic and yanking the
BW aspect out of it.

It's difficult in this realm where there is a strong seperate
relationship for our slayer and hacker. I saw a lot of Buffy/Angel
writing go totally non existant as soon as Riley came into the picture. 
I won't let that happen with Buffy and Willow damn it! In my world,
they are soul mates, roommates, lovers, fighters and friends. 
Together. In my world they are immortal, they have fought against king
arthur and won, Buffy did a short stint as a vampire and willow had a
short but loving relationship with Cordy after she was raped. These TV
characters that Joss has presented us with have become MY characters and
I'm not going to stop writting them simply becuase they have entered
different relationships on the show. So NO, I'm not leaving, No I'm not
going to stop writing Buffy/Willow fic, YES I am still your list mommy,
and YES I am very flattered by the outpour of warm squishy feelings from
those who have posted their discontent. I've discovered my outlet, the
place to vent and resolve my stress....and that is writing....believe
me, all the flames in the world are not going to stop me from doing it. 
And when it's become un-popular or not needed any longer in forums such
as this, I will continue to write simply because that's what I do and
have always done. It comes as natural to me as taking my next breath.

and Pat - Thanks for the kind words both on and off the list. Esp.
Quindo...no, you didn't flame me so don't get a sore head thinking about
it. But I'm not going anywhere so relax!!! I'm a good list mommy
(least I think so ;) and I plan on staying around for a long healthy
stretch of time. So relax, clean your rooms, put that down, be in by
curfew, eat your vegetables (but not tater), don't run with scissors,
because I said so!, and most important.....KEEP WRITING!!!
