Hmmm, considering that so many couples these days seem to decide not to take the other person's last name in marriage (to keep a better sense of self, they say - no wonder divorce rates are so high), I say:

Summerrose :)

Well, it would be a blend of the two without the need for a hyphen, and (personally), I think it would symbolize their union quite well. GIven the choices you asked about, I'd go with Summers. Buffy's definately the "butch" in the relationship. :)
